Upgrading my graphics card

I want to possibly upgrade to an Intel i7 4790 and to a GTX 970. The cpu doesn't matter in this question but thought  I should give it anyways just for suggestions on different graphics cards and cpus for the price. Anyways the question I have is will the gtx 970 fit? I have it on pcpartpicker (link down below) and it says that it may block some drive bays. Now I also have a wireless adapter in one of the smaller pci slots (not exactly sure what they are called) and was wondering if I were to upgrade to a GTX 970 from my R9 270 if the adapter would still fit in the case. I can't use ethernet because I am too far from my router so the adapter is my only option.

My current build is here: http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/kFvC4D

New build with GTX 970 and i7 4790: http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/KFWzsY

EDIT: I just checked and noticed that it says 230mm long. Could it mean drive bays as in the hard drive spaces and not actually any other pci slots? Sorry for the confusion I guess I didn't pay much attention.

I wouldn't get the 4790 till you get an better motherboard.

The time you enjoy wasting, is not wasted time.

I don't see much of a reason to upgrade to that since it isn't much of an upgrade. At least from the sources I looked at.

i would upgrade the mobo to the ASrock H87 Aniversery. its the same price but the h87 chipset is far better.

I'd like to skip the upgrade to a motherboard if possible since I am not too advanced in building my computer and want to just upgrade small parts. I will keep this in mind though so thanks :)
