I did this before as well like other people. I did everything right and still haven't gotten my rebate back (it's been about a year)

Im certain some people get it, but so many people have issues that I don't think its worth the risk. That's why I've stopped doing the antivirus rebates (they have that a lot). The only one's I do are corsair and asus direct ones. EDIT: There was also a powercolor one which used the same system as corsair so that was good too.
