Posted March 30, 2015 Yes. Get a 970 or a 980 for 1080p. Edit: Or wait for a possible 980ti
Posted March 30, 2015 If you want to play in 1080p buy yourself a GTX970. If you have money to burn and want to go crazy get a GTX980. Don't buy a Titan X for 1080p it's a waste of money. Posted March 30, 2015 lol tbh, i would personally get the titan x for 1080p then upgrading to 1440p. if you have the money, then why not. but a gtx 970 is enough for 1080p. I run a 1080p panel on one of my rigs... and one can handle 1080p no issues. With 2 I do DSR 4k. The projects never end in my line of work. Posted March 30, 2015 GTX970 or 290x is the absolute max you need for 1080p. Both run 1080p games "with their eyes closed". Even the 280x is mostly enough. Titan X for 1080p? Are you crazy?
