Settings for Most PPD ( F@H )

Okay so i want to get back into folding again, here are the 2 things in my rig that matter : 4770k at 4.2GHz and a 680.

Any type of special client types, or something that i should add to get the most PPD that i can out of this setup?

Currently i get 60K PDD 

4770k is at 24.145 PPD 
680 is at 33405 PPD 

These numbers seem kinda low comparing to what other people have said in forums that ive read so i was just wondering.

are you using beta core? because i was getting 54k out of my 7850 with core17

Yeah i put the beta core but it doesnt start with my 680

Yes, the BETA flag is only for the GPU slot on only makes it an "option". Does not mean you WILL get one, just that you can. Just an FYI - the core 17 seem to be running low and people reporting more and more standard WU's coming out... Hopefully everything gets updated soon, but the old core 16 do need to be finished...

Thanks, ive gotten 2 so far but whatever WU i get ill let it finish, i wont delete one cause its not core 17!

YES! That is one thing people need to remember, not to delete work units that may not be giving them the bonus PPD - we all need to do our part to also work on the slower ones as well. 

 

Also, Pande monitors statistics and technically it is a violation to delete WU's to try and cherry pick. They will suspend or even delete accounts if you have to many "lost" WU's attributed to your account. Now, I am sure this number needs to be pretty high, but during things like the Chimp Challenge, this can become a problem with some users doing this.
