Troubleshoot Drop FPS on Assassin Creed Unity at CFX R9 290 x2

Hi guys,

I have a problem with my rig when I play Assassin Creed Unity

my rig :

Asus Sabertooth 990FX R2.0

AMD FX9370

Radeon R9 290 x2 (Crossfire)

Corsair Vengeance Pro 8GB

Corsair HX1000i

with latest driver update

I used to play ACU with single VGA and I got 40-50 FPS, but when I enabled crossfire setting the FPS drop until 20 FPS.

can anyone help me? I have installed latest update and it still doesn't work.

Thankyou

im probably wrong but my advice would be that maybe you need more RAM? That the extra load of running crossfire and all that extra traffic on your system is filling up/slowing down your system ram? but idk for sure so check with others before unneeded DIMMS :D <3

That force AFR mode in CCC. Honestly that game is a messed with multi-cards.

Are you forcing AFR on the correct executable. The game is broken, but is super broken with crossfire. I can get it to run at a higher fps with cfx but with some wicked shadow popping.

I would suggest running acu with just 1 card.
