AMD APU HTPC Intel wifi compatibility

Would an AMD based HTPC 5600k build on an gigabyte fm2 MB work with an intel pci-e centrino wifi card..im thinking about adding it to my HTPC for a more cleaner look and i wouldnt have to route a long cable to it all the way from my router..but i read through some forums that it only works with intel systems and would cause compatibility issues with AMD systems

I think it will work, as long as you've got the latest drivers installed. (And if it gives compatibility issues, just remove it or replace it.)

Theoretically it should work because it still a pcie card. It's the same as some users use intel ssd on amd system with no issue at all.

That would be like if you had a Intel CPU, a AMD GPU wouldn't work. I don't think companies can disallow you do use a piece of hardware like that.

Edit: I know Apple do but its Apple so yeah..
