Pick your poison, all are mechanical, and all have backlighting.

The source of the light under the key has to be centered under the key, not off set.

not possible with mechanical keyboards, since the key has to have a plunger etc

Logitech G910 with its Romer-G switches and SteelSeries Apex M800 with QS1 switches both feature "centered led lighting". That's about the only thing they do "better". They cost a lot more than most other mechanical keyboards and most people seem to not like the switches' "feeling" as much as the more common Cherry MX switches. The Romer-G switches are similar to MX Browns while the QS1 switches are similar to MX Red, as far as I know. If you absolutely must have centered lighting, those two are worth checking out.
