Can this take down the temp?

hampusthun

Hey i have this problem with my pc CPU overheats while i play more intense games such as Battlefield 3 . its using a none active cool right it now and it peaks at about 80 degrees. So i have started the hunt for a pretty cheap fan to replace it. so i suceeded to find this fan here, and i was wondering if it would be enough to bring down the temp by quite alot.

Zalman CNPS80F Ultra Quiet

What cooler are you using? Just a heatsink and passive airflow?

What case are you using? If the 212 EVO is too big, maybe a horizontal cooler might be the solution.

New to Star Citizen? Look no further!

I've actually used the Zalman Performa for a long time and really liked it. It could get a bit loud at times, but it kept my 8350 under 50c at all times and idled around 20c, even when lightly overclocked. It is also pretty small for a horizontal heatsink. Remember to use good thermal paste!
