How to Clean a Scroll Wheel

A few months ago I recieved a Razer Death Adder Chroma as a gift. Unfortunately, due to the curse of sweaty palms and a but of neglect on my part, a grimy layer of dirt has stuck to my scroll wheel. I can easily scrape it off with my finger nail, but I am afraid of getting dirt in the inside of the mouse.

So what would be the best way to go about cleaning the scroll wheel?

But in all seriousness, I'd personally take it apart and pull the wheel unless you care about your warranty.

Take apart the mouse (should be a few screws on the bottom)

 

Unscrew the mouse wheel. It should also be held together by screws. 

 

Clean the mouse wheel. 

 

Put mouse together

 

BOOM! Clean mouse

Tried but doesnt work on a DeathAdder
