Engine start/stop button

Hello,

 

I want to have an engine start stop button similar to those cars use, but as my power button on my case. Would this be possible? Is there any guide on it? I've been trying to find one but with no luck.

A switch is a switch (mostly). Find an engine start button on ebay and go nuts.

Yea it would work perfectly on your computer, just get a switch and rewire it. 

 

I've got a few switches laying around and one button, it's not for a car but it will be nearly the same. I can make a video on how to wire it and post it on youtube if you'd like.

That's why I was looking for a guide. I'm a total noob when it comes to wiring etc.

You should also wire it to a built in speaker (if you have room) to make the sound of an engine revving up. That would blow my mind if you could time it well.

Nice. I had a 5.0 but now that my son is older and my daughter is getting bigger, the backseat is horrible for kids. No leg room whatsoever so I got a 4 door car and I was looking for something nice but not super expensive. The Kia Optima's feel very European with the luxury feel without the price tag.

Its a nice car! I got to see it at the auto show. Being 21 kids are not something I have thought about yet, I guess my girlfriend has been though because of search history I am trying to get an Audi fund going, either an S4 or an S6 would be amazing! Only 6 more years
