I'm under a load balanced connection and can't use the forum due to the ip changing. Every time I navigate 1 or 2 pages it loggs me off.

PM a moderator and see what they will do. This shouldn't be discussed openly.

yes, I do understand his problem though

I don't know the exact config in each browser, but you can bound your cookies to one of the IP so you will use the same IP for each connection

but theoretically defeat the purpose of load balancing for better speed

I don't know how IPB works either but each engine forums has protection for each user(name) to log in with different IP at same time because it indicates BOT.

Forum logins aren't invalidated by a changing IP. I carry my laptop between various networks every day and don't have to login again. Check your browser's cookie settings.

This is not common behavior, I don't get it in any other forum. Cookies are saved per-domain basis, not IP-wise. There must be a restriction upon changing IP within a short time or something.

For instance, I plugged out all the other 3 connections, and I am able to navigate properly now.

I've got 6 tabs open with more than one thread at any given moment and it works fine for me.

Your IP doesn't change when you open another page....

Sorry if I misunderstood what you said it just seems like that's what your saying.

It doesn't look like you can turn on server affinity. But I'm not super familiar with TP-Link, you may want to call them. what you are looking for is a setting that will allow you to automatically the same wan IP when connecting to a certain IP. Usually called affinity or persistence.

There's that option, but then it defeats the purpose of load balancing. The other 3 connections will become backup connections, instead of increasing the speed. For instance, a download would use only one connection, instead of all 4 as it does now.

As @Glenwing said above, the forum doesn't invalidate logins when you change IP address (and as proof, my login on my phone remains functional when I switch from wifi to 3G). What browser are you using? I would suggest trying to clear your cache and cookies for the site and see whether it makes and difference.

HTTP/2 203
