Legacy Or UEFI

i am referring to what the os boot from. I think it would be bios.

 

OS boots from storage device. It shouldn't matter whether you use UEFI or legacy to control drives. UEFI is faster so you should use it. It also has features for newer windows'.

Which one should I boot from and install my windows 8.1 in. I have actually installed my windows in Legacy mode because I didn't know uefi before but should i stay with legacy or reinstall to UEFI.

I assume you're talking about your BIOS, correct?

Are you referring to the UEFI?

Stick with uefi
