This is my first PC build. I would like to games at medium to high at 1080P

 

Specs: (All prices in Australian Dollars)

CPU: i5 4690 3.5 GHz Quad core LGA 1150  $299

MotherBoard: Gigabyte H97 Gaming LGA1150 $139

GPU: Gigabyte gGforce GTX 750Ti Black Edition 2GB  $188

Hard Drive: WD 1TB green 3.5 $ 72

Ram: Kingston Hyper X DDR3 8GB (4GBx2) $99

PSU: Corsair CX600v3 600 watt 80+ bronze $ 99

Operating System: Windows 8.1 64 bit $129

CPU Cooler: Cooler Master hyper 212X

Case: Fractal Design Define r5 black $150

 

I am trying to keep the price under $1,500

Get a 4460 and a cheaper Mobo like AsRock Anniversary and get a better gpu like a 970 or 290(x)

if you get the non K CPU get an H97 MoBo

CPU: Xeon 1230v3 - GPU: GTX 770  - SSD: 120GB 840 Evo - HDD: WD Blue 1TB - RAM: Ballistix 8GB - Case: CM N400 - PSU: CX 600M - Cooling: Cooler Master 212 Evo

@CJpro2 the one that you had is really expensive for what you are getting this would be a better option for you its way under $1500 and a LOT better than the other one you should also be able to run all of the current games at 1080p max settings

Still not done, you need a better GPU. Just buy it online not at your local PC shop.
