MSI GTX 770

EVGA 430W PSU

8 GB Kingston Fury RAM

 

I can't find an option to choose my exact CPU on Coolermaster's website, I chose another pentium processor, and I wanted to get a second opinion for PSU wattage.   I'm going to use this to mess around with Steam in home streaming.  It will not be overclocked.  

 

Also, the 770 has two 8-pin connectors but the PSU only has one.  Can I use this http://www.amazon.com/PCI-Express-Video-Y-Splitter-Adapter-Supply/dp/B00A3OVG4Wto fix that problem?  

 

I already had the PSU, GPU, and RAM.  That is why they're being used in this build.

You should be able to fix the single 8 pin issue with that adapter, though I personally would use an 8-pin to dual Molex. The system will run fine on the PSU.

The GTX 770 doesn't really make much sense on a price to performance standpoint, at least any more. You are much better off going with a GTX 970 or R9 290 (although you will need a more powerful psu).

Cool, I'm going to give that one a shot.  I tried to boot the pc and It yelled at me about the GPU not having enough power :P

With the single 8-pin to dual 8-pin adapter? That's probably why :D

I knew someone would say something about it not making sense.  :D  My 770 was collecting dust after I put the 980 in my main PC.
