The $99.99 is worth it. You won't be able to play many games with Linux. DirectX FTW.

For Blender, Linux is great, but for gaming not so much. There is a good amount of games at the moment, but not nearly as much as Windows.

Doesn't windows actually take up more overhead than linux or am I wrong?

Will it ever change or windows is the only choice?

If you are short on cash. Go with linux. Windows is always going to have the most support, but that can change.

Before I found a deal on a windows licence I was going to start with Linux because It had enough supoort to get me started.

The year is 20XX. Everyone plays Fox at TAS levels of perfection. Because of this, the winner of a match depends solely on port priority. The RPS metagame has evolved to ridiculous levels due to it being the only remaining factor to decide matches.

Only Abate, Axe, and Wobbles can save us.

It could change, nobody really knows. I'm personally dual booting to keep up with Linux gaming and encouraging everyone to at least try Linux.

A bit more, yes. But I experience faster performance (Web browsing) with windows.

And Linux has a very small amount of games compared to Windows. (Plus windows has DirectX, which 12 should be coming out soon)

For gaming, there is nothing like Windows.
