Can you guys help me get a Liquid Cool set up like this?

Hey guys, im planning on doing a custom loop in my system, right now i just have a bunch of higher end parts inside a case with no real management, i wanna start making this thing a beauty.

I kinda want something like JayzTwoCents Skunkworks but of course a different color scheme, im going to be going with Red/Black/Dark Grey and possibly some white.

The thing is ive never done a custom loop in my life and im lost on all the parts i need and have no idea where to start.

Whats the best site to buy this stuff from?

i know his case is a CaseLabs Magnum SMA8 Super Tower which i will be picking up.

Im more so lost on where i would get waterblocks for my MSI GTX 980, Where i would get the reservoirs and pumps and the tubing and all the fittings, the CPU waterblock and the pumps, radiators etc.

I will be transferring most of the stuff i have in this RIG in my signature, except for the power supply i will be changing that and i will also be addings another MSI GTX 980 that will also need a waterblock.

For those that dont know what jayz skunkworks looks like here is a picture:
http://i.ytimg.com/vi/whKB8YvB14w/maxresdefault.jpg

---------------------------

How many fittings would i need etc etc. Thanks for any and all help, im looking forward to building this and will keep you guys updated every step of the way.

First of all, do you have the $600-$1000 for a custom loop like that?

You would need atleast 1000$ for it, alteast ^^ also there is a ton of work behind it and its pretty hard to calculate all the things you need. I would start with a soft tube or lots and lots of preparations for those kind of loops

CPU: Xeon 1230v3 - GPU: GTX 770  - SSD: 120GB 840 Evo - HDD: WD Blue 1TB - RAM: Ballistix 8GB - Case: CM N400 - PSU: CX 600M - Cooling: Cooler Master 212 Evo

Update Plans: Mini ITX this bitch

k well in that case, you want to do hard tubing like jayztwocents right?

hard tubing is a lot more work, but if you want to do it then you should watch a bunch of videos and learn the basics first

I suggest you check out SingularityComputers on youtube, he does a lot of hard tubing builds and is one of the most experienced watercoolers around

also Linus has a hard tubing build log coming soon, so if you watch that you will learn a ton of the stuff needed

should be coming out in the next few weeks

so acrylic tubing, dual pump, triple 980 sli, 5960x watercooling parts?

im thinking Dual 980's, and as for the CPU im happy with my 4770k i managed to get a pretty damn good chip and was able to OC it to 4.8 GHz with some pretty low volts.

Good idea and have already started doing all that, i watched Jayz entire build vlog and it all seemed pretty simple-ish i work as a manufacturing technician so building stuff is my thang! :P The hardest part seemed like it was forming the acrylic tubing. but ive already done some of that at work so i know how to do it.

I am also super excited for linus's hard line build log, but im assuming its going to be a multi part series :S lol

6500$ for his entire build, case.GPU's and all that.

All i really need to pick up is the Case, The Liquid cooling parts and another 980 GTX + Power supply.  probably also going to get custom sleeved cables from the same place he got his.

Edit: oh yah and the fancy fans lol

What case you have?

Right now i have a ThermalTake Armor Revo, but i will not be using this case as its not big enough and can barely fit a dual rad in it.

i will be using the same case Jayz uses in his Skunkworks: http://www.caselabs-store.com/magnum-sma8/

im making a list of parts i need to purchase.

The one he using is a 900D.Im making a water cooling parts list for you,

So if you are going to get a 900D then you will be able to fit more radiators.

Im kinda set on using the CaseLabs Magnum SMA8 Super Tower, as i think the case is sexy as heck, and Jay has two quad rads in it. it also doesnt have the hard drive bays in the front so theres alot more room which i like.
