Far Cry 4 Patch 1.9.0 broke SLI

ablangc

Well, typical of Ubisoft to mess things up.  Patch 1.9.0 now causes heavy flickering for all SLI users.

Few ways to fix it is to disable SLI, try the window/borderless switch to full screen, roll back to 1.8.0 if you can, or swap to Nvidia driver version 345.20.

I can't believe they even released this patch.

I have a potato!

Far Cry 4 is a mess, didn't nearly stand up to far cry 3 imo. Especially in terms of story, and then these terrible technical issues with SLI and such.

I never played FC3 but I may give it a try now that FC4 is broken.

You totally should, Far Cry 3 is one of my favorite games tbh. Love the character progression/story, looks great still, and has some cool RPG/open world mechanics IMO.

A just keep digging meme just wouldn't cut it anymore. Ubisoft has gone from a joke to a shame.

Is there even CrossfireX support yet? AMD hasn't had any new drivers in ages :/.

I haven't actually played through Far Cry 4, never liked the Far Cry series myself. Lacked in weapon choices and story lines are always bland and cliche.
