I want to buy a backplate for my gtx 980 and spray paint it, I have never sprayed for a mod before so I am unsure on what brand/type to use, I am looking for the colour red and make sure that it doesn't start peeling, cracking under the high temperature. Just looking for any tips on preperation thanks you

Plasti-dip is probably the most popular options since it's a removable rubber coating that is sustainable to 100C there's no need for primer or prep just a clean surface, for spray paint any spray paint will really do since it's not that hot, for paint however you will need to sand prime and paint it to ensure a good adhesion.

-snip-

use either high temp ceramic paint thats used for engines , or a less permanent option is platidip like others have suggested

How much does this Plasti-dip cost to do?  Thing is though it doesn't sound like a very fun choice in terms of work put in and being a true modder so even if it was cheap I don't think I'd ever do it for one of my pcs.

Too many ****ing games!  Back log 4 life! :S

In Canada expensive, I bought two cans on a sale and it was $30 when in the US it's around $5-10 per can so yeahhhhhh....

Well if I had to quickly do a build for my daughter which I will do one day I think I will be sure to have someone go to Port Huron, MI and pick up the stuff there. Guaranteed she will want some strange colors for her pc.

Yeah that's a better way to go just don't be bringing back boxes of that stuff since customs may not let you bring large amounts of it in Canada since it's considered a hazardous material apparently, also the reason for the much higher cost in Canada.

Fast & Easy = Plastidip

Sexy = Airbrush

Nvidia is to Dr Dre Beets as AMD is to KFC.

One makes you broke, the other you can get more of and have a midnight snack from the fridge when hungry again. Once you go Nvidia, you go broked, turn into an Elitist, or get the incorrect amount of VRAM.

 I was only 9 years old. I loved Fifflaren so much, I had all the NiP merchandise and matches pirated. I prayed to Fifflaren every night before bed. Thanking him for the life I have been given. Fifflaren is love I say. Fifflaren is life. My dad hears and calls me a fuckhead. I knew he was just jelly of my passion for Fifflaren. I called him a Sw@yer. He hits me and sends me to go to sleep. I'm crying now, and my face hurts. I lay in bed and it's really cold. A warmth is moving towards me. I feel someone touching me. I feel someone touching me. It's Fifflaren. I am so happy. He whispers in my ear; "this is my pyjama". He grabs me with his powerful Swedish hands and puts me on my hands and knees. I'm ready. I spread my ass cheeks for Fifflaren. He penetrates my butt-hole. It hurts so much but I do it for Fifflaren. I can feel my butt tearing as my eyes start to water. I push against his force. I want to please Fifflaren. He roars a viking roar as he fills my butt with his love. My dad walks in. Fifflaren looks straight into his eyes and says; "He is a ninja now". Fifflaren is love, Fifflaren is life

Thank you for your response, as long as it can withstand the temperatures it seems like the best option thank you :)

Going between canada and the US I never had them search a vehicle before though. we went over to canada to see the fireworks in detroit, because at the time the canadian side was much better. we had a van full of people and all they really asked for was our license plate number. we could of been carrying all the drugs in the world in the back.

IE, I dont think they will give you trouble. Granted This is between detroit and canada, I dont know how other border crossings between the two are like
