Budget 2way SLI Motherboard

Suggest me a budget mobo from 90$ to 100$ maybe? Also good for overclocking, socket 1150 could support 5th, new 4th and 4th gen.

Yes, but I wouldn't recommend SLI 960's over a single 970.

1. More power/heat than a single 970.

2. Significantly less vram than a single 970 (this WILL be a bottleneck even at 1080p in some current titles and probably many future titles)

3. Some games have bad SLI scaling/no scaling at all.

4. More expensive than a 970

5. Less upgradability (with a 970 you can buy another one, with two 960's you can't really just throw in another)

That's of course assuming you're going to start with two 960's.

RIP in pepperonis m8s

The Krait is the only Z97 SLI mobo under $100

There are more options for Z87.

Z87 mobos require a bios update to work with Haswell refresh processors. And no you can't use a Haswell refresh processor to do the flash. I don't think Z87 will get support for Broadwell. Doesn't matter if you don't intend to get a Broadwell CPU.

I will just use the G3258 for the single 960 then i will save up to buy i5 4690k and another 960.

So maybe i can stick to ASRock Z97 Anniversary and save up for the 970 (or get a 960 then swap it into 970 then add cash after i save up) with the G3258 temporarily then get an i5?
