Look at local job listings and send in applications / call around / go to local business asking if they need a hand. It's the only way you'll ever get anywhere.

Print off resumes, lots of them. Then go to everyplace you might want to work and apply. When your 16 think of it like using a shotgun and hoping to hit something.

Buy used stuff off eBay. clean it up or fix it, and sell it. Learn to deal with the eBay community for a bit, then when you're 20 or so apply at every single computer shop and wait to hear back from them.

Just get a newspaper or go to the local hiring website u have, see jobs that u'd like and call them, go for a contact. It's not hard at all to get a job at mcd or some shop, but they might only let u work on the storage/kitchen for the first time.

Drop off resumes to pretty much every store/business, whether or not they say they are hiring. In the meanwhile, do some volunteer work and grow your reference list.

Like said above. Print of resumes and hand them out like they're going out of style. You're 16, so you can't be picky. Lots of tech shop related jobs require you to be 18. Your best bet is something retail/food related.

Go to some stores and talk to them about working there.

When you go into apply, SELL yourself. They're hiring you so they can make money!

Go talk to the boss at different shops.. Try to choose a time where they won't be too busy.
