4 x 3pin fans on 1 MB header?

Like the titel says i want to mount 4 Corsair SP120 LED fans on 1 MB header with a spliter. I want to controll them with the Asus x99 motherboard.

 

Will it work or will the header burn?

But if i take a splitter with additional power from the PSU I want be able to controll the speed right?

 

So if i just set the max. speed to say 80% it will work with 1 MB header?

I just need a option to control my total of 14 3pin fans over the MB.

How about a PWM Fan hub? My case came with one. It is from Phanteks.

 

It has 6 fan connectors, and can support up to 11 fans with splitters.
