I'm with BT (a UK ISP) and normally to connect to the router management to do port forwarding and stuff like that, I type in http://bthomehub.homeor my default gateway into the chrome address bar. However, recently I have not been able to access it. I don't know for how long this has been an issue since I haven't tried to access it in months, but chrome just says "This web page is not available" and in the details section it says the page took too long to respond.

It also has my location wrong - when I go to Google Weather, it says I am located somewhere in London, when I'm pretty much on the other side of the country - this also was not an issue until recently.

I have tried a full reset of my router and using a different browser, and a different PC and I am using a wired connection. I read on a forum that disconnecting the homeplugs fixed the problem for another person however after a bit of Googling I found nothing on what homeplugs are and how to disconnect them.

I'd like to thank you all in advance for your responses.
