Just something to *WHOOSH* your feathers!

Darkr

Hey guys,

I'm looking for a suitable air cooler, because my stuff is hanging around at 70 degrees...

I want one that's cheap, but also reliable and works good.

Ty

Also...

Is it better to keep your PC case open on one side, or fully closed?

It may or may not make a difference.

Apparently, removing the side panel may mess up the PC's natural airflow path, but I don't see huge temperature variances.

It will also make your cooling inefficient.

I get about 15*C temperature differences, but due to the poor layout of my apartment, my computer is fairly close to the baseboard radiators. When my computer was in a different location, I was getting about 5-10*C differences only under load. I'm very much so a person to take advantage of the natural airflow, so my side panel only comes off while the computer is running and I need to diagnose.

Terve!
I might be too late, but over here the Arctic freezer extreme might be a good option.

I stuffed that thing into a corsair 250D. It barely fit toghether with the Blu Ray drive, but I think it's definitely worth a look.

Sayonara!
