i have the same question, just with

 - Athlon II X2 270

 - AMD Radeon HD4870 (Two)

 - and 4 gigs of corsair Value RAM

 - Samsung Evo 120GB SSD

any ideas on 1080 as my display cant handle it D:

Its close. Way to close. The gpu is ok for low settings 1080p but the cpu is horrible for gaming. What's your mobo?

Its his system. He wasn't asking if the athlon is better or worse than the g3258. He was asking if his system is capable of running games at 1080p low settings.

Don't get that. The price difference between it and the fx 6300 is 20£. With that in mind, you can get the fx 6300 and a decent aftermarket cooler for the same price as the fx 6350.

yea its maybe gonna have a Swiftech H220-x on it or a H100i. Is the performance different between the 6300 and the 6350? but having said that, the power to price is pretty good that i have seen

Don't go too overboard with the cooling. If you get the h100i, you would be getting a cooler which actually costs more than the cpu haha. A simple cooler master hyper 212 would be enough :P Also no, there is no difference between the fx 6300 and fx 6350. Only difference is clock speed. Also next time try and make a new topic instead of asking on a thread.

GTX 750 1GB GDDR5

G3258 oc@ 4.8Ghz

Is this good enough to run triple A games in 1080p with med to low settings

My rig (profile) can run triple A settings at low so i would say yes
