pre ordering from GMG

i wanna pre order GTA 5, because gmg sent me a "thank you" discount code to use on the division or GTA 5, and it expires in a week. if i pre order gta 5 from GMG (im insane if i order the division) will it send me a steam key or something? because the gta pre order page says "other DRM" instead of steam.

Space Journal #1: So Apparently i  was dropped on the moon like i'm a mars rover, in a matter of hours i have found the transformers on the dark side of the moon. Turns out its not that dark since dem robots are filled with lights, i waved hi to the Russians on the space station, turns out all those stories about space finding humans instead of the other way around is true(soviet Russia joke). They threw me some Heineken beer and I've been sitting staring at the people of this forum and earth since.

Not what he asked.

 

It has not yet been officially announced if the game will use steam only for its DRM IIRC but either way you'll get the game. Also i wouldn't worry about those codes you seem to get one every time you get a newsletter well from my experience anyway.

It has not yet been officially announced if the game will use steam only for its DRM IIRC but either way you'll get the game. Also i wouldn't worry about those codes you seem to get one every time you get a newsletter well from my experience anyway.

i stopped pre purchasing games since simcity came out, its an exception for gta because i already have it for ps3, and the amount of delays that have been happening if it is NOT what its planned out to be especially because its already a solidly released game. then i will raise the white flag and outright stop supporting rockstar.

yea the last port was a joke, but thats when no game dev cared about PC. i have a feeling gta 5 will be different.

Not just GTA 4... Even San Andreas.. I can't remember a single game Rockstar didn't botch when porting over.

But then again, they still played better than what Ubisoft has done last year with their games.

Heck, I'd argue that the PC version has been "done" for months now and they are only delaying it once more, because they are bringing the online Heist to consoles, to sell more of said consoles.

Seriously though even if you're planning on getting it, I am pretty sure they do not deserve your preorder money. Just get it day one or a bit after we know if it's a crap port or not.

Everybody, precisely because you keep preordering and rewarding their bad behavior. So think about that next time you hear news about Ubi/Take Two/2k/EA/Capcom/Square/etc being assholes.
