I need a cheap AIO for my 4790k, not overclocking but a load of gaming. Any ideas? Or will it be better to get some kind of custom loop which I was planning in the future but get some parts now and upgrade later? If I do get a AIO can I some how use parts off it for custom? Or will I be able to replace some parts and get a custom loop from it later on?

Thanks :)

just choose wither less than $150 for an AiO or over $200 for a custom loop

dont buy a "customizeable" AiO

You can not (easily) turn an AIO into a custom loop. It's been done but it's not adviseable. I would recommend the H55/H60/H75/H80i as they are great AIO's and arent too expensive.

My arsenal: i7-9700k Gaming Rig, an iPhone, and Stupidity.

Are you sure the H55/H60 will be able to handle a 4790K? On Corsair's website it says it's for dual cores. :/ I might go for the H75.. Nice "performance for the price" I heard. :)

Get the H75. It's newer and prettier than the H55/H60.

Check out the new GTX versions from Corsair - they look damn tasty and the initial tests show some awesome temps

I did plan to OC later when I get a custom loop but now I think I'm might get a Corsair 110 and try to OC a bit. :) My last question, 110 worth the money or just go for 100?

The 110 is a 280 rad over the 100's 240 rad. If you are not OCing bigtime, go for the 100.

I'm running a H55 on my 5820k 4,0 ghz 1,2V , it DOES hit 94°c under prime95 load with a noctua fan , but it's quiet at idle ( I would look into a 240mm though )
