Idea for laptop fan

Hey guys

 

I had an idea for a laptop fan that i wanted to build myself( its a mac from 2011, they have major heating problems ). I have this behemoth air filter that blasts air through the top of it at high speed, so i was thinking why not try to make it a fan? The only thing i need to do is somehow make it stay put on top of that.

Just use a flexible air duct, and connect it from the filter to the notebook

This way you dont need to use the notebook directly on top of the filter

I have a cardboard box, mabey if i put it ontop of it and directed the air towards my computer, while its on its side it would cool it!

Turns out i just put it on its side with a binder and it works perfecly! now my temps will never exeed 120f

i kinda forgot to mention... i have a macbook pro from 2011 with heating problems...

 you can overclock apple computers, its just too complicated to be worth it plus unless you have extremely good cooling, i wouldn't OC a laptop

prop the laptop up with two Ipad docks and get a fan like this but 6-8 inch one:

did this and it worked great, lowered CPU temps by 30 degrees C.  make sure the laptop has a back or bottom intake
