Triple screen VS single screen for racing simulator : advice

So after my newly (2 years ago) discovered love for cars and race gaming i have finaly decided to jump from using an xbox controller to the Logitech g27, it is arriving next week. However, how would you guys go about you're monitor setup for using a racing wheel? 3 x 1080- 22-24 inch monitors or 1 x 1440 - 27 inch monitor? :P

I think i would personaly find the bezels of three monitors annoying, but im not sure 1 screen has a wide enough resolution (16:9). Another choice is a 21:9 but i feel like those screens aint worth the money at the moment, please disagree!

Money is not the biggest of issues, but i would rather not spend too much if i dont have to! sweet spot - high end gaming! :)

ANY opinion of advice would be extremely helpfull!

I would go for a ultrawide monitor, as they are excellent for racing games and I can't stand monitor bezels.

If you want more stuff you could always add another 2 extra wide monitors

i would go for either an ultrawide or a few projectors like in linus' video on 3d vision surround.

pc specs: 4 function calculator / 8 digit lcd display / colored numeric and function buttons

Love the idea of a few projectors.

Single monitor is always better for gaming, because u have a solid picture, without any margins.

But if u go programing, 3 monitros will be better.

Is there a proper gaming oriented (relatively cheap-ish) 21:9 monitor or should i wait for LG with they 2015 lineup?

Linus seems to suggest, in this videos, that most 21:9) monitors isent up to par with gaming because of panel being ips and inputlag therefore being slow. :)

having tried both setups i prefer 1 larger monitor to 3 smaller ones.

I went from 3 23" 1080P monitors to 1 28" 4k monitor and it feels so much better for my racing sims.
