If the GPU is in good condition and it's cheaper than NIB, go for it.

IMO a GPU is one of the last PC components I would ever buy used, especially if its AMD since a lot of them have been used for mining

If it wasn't used too heavily, and you know the seller has good rep, then sure as long as you arn't expecting it too last too long.

 

If it was a miner, then by no means should you get it. Period.

Make sure it isn't a mining card, if it was, it was probably ragged.

idk im looking at two cards right now on eBay and yes its an auction thing. A XFX r9 290 Black edition and an Asus r9 280. When i asked both sellers both said the cards were used only for gaming.
