Hello tech people,

I have one question for you, will my system bottleneck the performance of the XFX R9 295X2 too much and if yes where do I need to upgrade my system? :o

MY SPECS

i7 3770k

8GB DDR3 Ram (4GB x2)

XFX 6970 GPU (Will be replaced with the mentioned above :D)

Z77-D3H Gigabyte motherboard

Aerocool Strike-X 1100w PSU (80+ Gold)

Hitachi 1T hard drive Sata II (5700rpm)

If I missed anything please do mention it. Also as a side question, Is there a GPU close to the performance of the XFX R9 295X2 but a little less on the price side (just Curious :D )

Thank you

nope, no bottlenecks over there

however consider getting 2 separate r9 290x or r9 290x, if you get 2 Sapphire r9 290x Tri-X it will be cheaper than the 295x2, and since itrs 2 separate cards the power delivery will be better, i dont really trust to power 2 290x' though just 2 8 pin connectors.... just doesnt seem enough power..

and dual r9 290 (non x) will be even cheaper
