amd 9370 cooling

Hi guys, I really need your help on something cause I am ready to explode....I bought from mistake an amd fx 9370 but it was from older version without cooling at all and not having measure the budget I couldnt afford a good cooler so I bought an cm tx3 and some fans more to have a good airflow also I bought I thermal compound arcit mx-4 please tell me if there is a chance to burn my cpu ( I will not oc it) thanks in advance!!

Noctua DH 14/15 or something.

 

That cpu needs a very decent cooler.

it will get really hot, but just monitor your temperatures and make sure they dont exceed 62C

you really need a better cooler for that CPU

A CM TX3 is nowhere near enough to cool the FX 9370 at stock clocks. Get a beefy liqud cooler AIO like the CM Nepton 280L.

That thing will still run hot as a mother. A TX3 is not very big.

Omg...so you recommend not to start it at all even with opened case and a big fan (those used at summer...) dirrectly at cpu?

u say u will not overclock it u cant really anyway its just the same as a 8350 just overclocked as stock and like some other people are saying underclock it until u get a decent cooler

Ok so I have to underclock lets say to 4 ghz and I will be...fine for some time until I get h100i? I have to undervoltage at the same time?

TX3 will be fine up to 4.3 GHz imo on 9370.
