I hate my computer!

It just sucks... The bios is so crappy its near unusable... The computer randomly crashes now at stock settings... NEXT TO NO VOLTAGE CONTROL FOR OVERCLOCKING... uefi support is hit or miss... psu si near dead and overheats... gpu is bent and it creaks... hyper 212 has bent fins... cpu has a scratched top due to crappy cpu heatsink mounts... hdd is dying... one got 1 molex connector left on my non modular psu and everything is using splitters and adapters... all the fans suck...

 

The list goes on but i dont feel like complaining anymore.

Just get a new board. Everything else seems fine to me

when you say HDD do you mean SSD?

 

also the cpu IHS being scratched doesn't really matter,same goes for the bent fins on the hyper 212.

 

only real problems seem to be the dying storage drive and the bad PSU.

Same here... Athlon 64 x2 4200+ is close to dead, motherboard's caps are loose, gpu sucks (550 ti), only has 2gb of ram, hdds are almost dead (1 of them is from my dead xbox 360) and my monitor is so close to dead, it has a reddish hue to it... only good thing is my gs800 (overkill but plan to upgrade around it...

you can easily unbend those fins on the hyper 212 but i do agree the mounting hardware is god awful xD

No i have a 200Gb hdd for storage.

how much did you spend on the pc in total?

and when did you build it

No clue i have built it over a few years with a very tight budget. But I would estimate 600 or more.

my suggestions

get a new cheap but good mobo (read the reviews) 

get a better storage driver, i have a WD caviar blue 1tb and its just peachy, you can get them off newegg ~60$ USD

get a modular psu

upgrade your gpu to a 660 if you can :)

 

also how much ram do you have? you don't specify in the signature xD

GPU is bent, Heatsink is bent... these don't just happen by themselves... take better care of your stuff. Unlucky if you have some parts that are playing up on you but that doesn't seem to be the only problem here...

Time for an upgrade/update :)

 

Also a scratched heat spreader will not affect thermal performance.

Want to know my Story? Had an i7 990X it died, ok it got replaced then my Motherboard died, it got Replaced, then it died again, we decied to buy another Mtoherboard and it died After warranty, we buyed another Board and it died Too and couldn't get Replaced because it was EOL (LGA 1366) so now im using another Motherboard and the Front I/O Speakers Are Burnt. My case has a Crack on the Side Panel, theres 1 Screw Missing, it collects SO much dust in 3weeks like another Pc would in 2 years. My Cpu Cooler has somewhat Problmes keeping my CPU cool so i can't go over 3.8Ghz. My Ram didn't fit under my CPU Cooler so i had to Cut off the Heat spreadders and mod it and it looks so ugly now.

If the fins are bent on your heatsink, isn't that your fault? Also the scratch on the cpu, if you take your time and don't force stuff the 212 isn't really rock science to get on, you could have asked someone to help you fit it.  Your graphics card has done a good job to even last as long as it has most 400 series cards that have been oc'ed or used regularly are dying or have already died.  Most of your rig has just worn out or needs replacing, it just needs maintenance and new parts just like most things do.

Just get a new mobo and psu. You can get some new unopened z68s on ebay for cheap now.  just update it for your ivy.. hdds are also cheap.
