What's wrong with the mobo?  I've got the same one and my 2600K overclocks just fine.  Are you adjusting load-line calibration settings?  Sandy/Ivy has vDroop which reduces voltage under load, so you need load-line calibration to counteract that.

EDIT: Oh, you're using the U1L beta bios...yeah, no proper voltage control there yet.  There is some tool out there to get you back to the original bios, but I haven't tried it.

Start donating blood for $$. You'll have a new shiny cool computer soon after.

Surely it's no longer a donation if you are selling it :P

GPU is bent, Heatsink is bent... these don't just happen by themselves... take better care of your stuff. Unlucky if you have some parts that are playing up on you but that doesn't seem to be the only problem here...

GPU pcb is bent because the card has no backplate and a real small heatsink also the psu is bottom mounted and the wires are to heavy it has nothing to do with me mistreating my computer and the bent fins on my 212 are from my cat.

Time for an upgrade/update :)

Also a scratched heat spreader will not affect thermal performance.

I know it just look ugly.

Just get a new mobo and psu. You can get some new unopened z68s on ebay for cheap now.  just update it for your ivy.. hdds are also cheap.

If I upgrade my motherboard its going to be Z77 i have way to many problems with z68 and ivy especially with this motherboard.

I tried the tools and they work but I need the latest bios to do any overclocking at all.

It can cost you even more if don't replace the psu it could go out with bang and damage all hardware that is potentialy fine now.

I know i'm getting a CX 750 really soon but for the next week or so I have to stay with a light load on my system.

Damn, that is unlucky but how did the CPU die?

I let it drop on the Ground xD i was Carring my 3 Ram sticks and my CPU and then wel my Ram sticks fell down and CPU too. CPU died and Ram sticks slided like 1 meter and they are still 100% stable and can run at 2000Mhz i don't get that logic

Were you carryng 3 2000Mhz Ram kits and a Big CPU on one Arm without using your hands? :P its not easy to hold the balance

I would have done one at a time or something certainly more manageable, maybe I'm weird like that :)
