Any audiophiles that actually tried the Steelseries Siberia Elites?

Any audiophile who's tried it has denied trying it.

I was considering buying a pair of Siberia Elites, but I always question the sound quality of "gaming" headsets. The only reason is that I now find it annoying to have a desk mic. And I don't want a mod mic either, i tried it, but the 2 cable nonsense just didn't get along with me.

So any audiophiles that tried Siberia elites? The headphones I'm using right now are HD558s, not the greatest headphones, but they sound pretty good.

I wouldn't consider Siberia Elites to be audiophile quality.

The projects never end in my line of work.

I know a shop that carries them, but don't have them out for trials... I guess that says something...

Then again, they have Razers out for trials...

They're bad. You can get something that is compatible with the vmoda boom mic. I think someone recommended a Phillips headphone recently with the boom mic. Forget the model name though but it was around $100.

Edit: it was the SHP9500

I'm no audiophile by any means. But this headset with the steelseries engine software and dolby headphone on, my favorite headset i've ever used. I have tried out a lot of them and this is by far the best sounding one. Again, not a audiophile, just my opinion. I love them, i am buying a mic and am going to buy a pair of nice headphones and some point to see the difference.

Well I guess I'm scrapping the idea of buying one.
