What uni are you at? Yeah, computer science students would be your best bet.

Problem is most CS students (at least in my uni) dont give two shits about hardware.

Same. No one at my school etc. are into computers and it sucks because then you have to rely on online communities like LTT which is exactly a bad thing.

I'm one of two or three people I'm aware of around me using a mech keyboard. My comp science teacher uses one and a guy in my comp science class uses a Blackwidow.

I prefer Tenkeyless cuz space saver.

I've got a V60 which is a 60%, but I use my TKL more as its on my desktop.

V60 is for my Surface and whenever I'm doing large amounts of typing, as the switches are nicer for that.

 

Got 2 boards, V60 w MX Clears and Quickfire TK w MX Browns.

 

And I know a load of people at my Uni who are into hardware, then a bunch from a couple of other unis. Must just have gotten lucky that I know so many people into hardware.

I am on a Computer Science degree, so I guess the chance was higher.

I got myself a k70 with reds, but i dont use it.

I use my apple adjustable keyboard with alps switches due to its amazing ergonomics. Like, i can type so much faster on this keyboard then any other keyboard. Its so nice and ergonomic and angled and i just love it. Nice blend of tactile feedback and noise too.
