I have 2 R9-270x viceo cards with crossfire set up.

I play mostly MMORPGs (WoW) and need good video performance as a raid healer

Can anyone suggest settings to optomize Croissifre for WOW?  I know i need to have a sepperate "Deafault" config for daily ise.

Still I fo get a lot of Driver Errors in regular useaage.

I know the latest AMD Driverset rleased last December was very buggy and a lot of problems went away when i went back to older drivers.

I have a  i7-4790 processor on an Asus Z-97 Pro MB with Win7-64 and 8G Corsair DDR-3 memory

Thanks

WoW has about 0-5% benefit from crossfire

Don't even bother with crossfire on WoW

Default configuration should be fine, the crossfire wasn't a good idea, should have just gone for a single more powerful card such as a gtx 970 or r9 290x.

Also, I'd invest in either a new keyboard or improving your spelling :P

I'm not sure what your asking but when I play healer especially on huge raids I will put it on low settings even though I could probably get higher gfx settings

Yeah you will get like 120fps with one card (Thats what i get sometimes 140-150fps) no point in crossfire!

The OMEGA driver from AMD is working realy well for me. With the specifications you have , you could easily run WoW on ultra settings while still getting 100+ FPS.

I have played WoW on ultra settings with the extended render distance mod, with an FX 8320 , 16GB of ram and an r9 290 while still getting 60- 80 FPS as a tank in raids.

Make sure that your Mobo supports Crossfire in the first place, and you are actually better of selling one/both and getting one medium range GPU.

I've heard and seen, WoW dislike multiple GPU's and performs a little bit worse with AMD cards than nVidia's. Get a nVidia card for WoW.

Thank You All

I took out the 2nd card and just have the one R9-270X running and I'm getting between 80-100FPS in regular play.

My Mistake:  I ASSUMED it would be better.  This is a new sysyem and i never tried it with just the one graphics card.

Oh erll, I have a 2nd nice R9-270X card to put into my old PC and give it to the grand kids.

Thanks
