(Newbie user) experiment with my cable management

hello,

i just experiment my cable management on my first pc. 

 

Specs

Case : Corsair SPEC 01

CPU : Intel i5 2400

Mobo : GIGABYTE H61M-S2P-B3

RAM : Corsair XMS 3 2*2GB Dual channel KIT Series

VGA : Galaxy GT430LP Palit Jetstream GeForce GTX970

Storage : 2x HDD (500GB+80GB) seagate barracuda

PSU : Corsair CX500 BUILDER SERIES v2

 

additional :

1x Optical drive

1x 30 cm LED Strip red (Molex 12V)

1x Intake LED by corsair (RED)

1x Intake 21 LED custom fan (Purple)

1x Exhaust 21 LED custom fan (Purple)

1x Exhaust generic high speed fan

 

any suggestions?

This is fine, and i feel more to show us your system - not that there is anything wrong with that (but put it in build logs)

That GPU looks pretty thick, triple slot?

Also, quite a small mobo you have there :P

yeah  :lol: it eats about 2.5 slots... very thick heatsink cooling

Hello, you have done a good job to be honest, the one thing that I would recommend for a cleaner look is use cables that have black sleeves. The only thing that spoils the look is the multi colour exposed wires.

 

Other than that a nice clean job.

Good job on the work, only thing I would do different is have all of your wires zip tied together in the first 'entrance' hole so it is one mass of wires instead of it visibly splitting there, just move the split to where you cannot see it.

Also if you are crazy like me, you can just paint all those dang PSU wires black, which is quicker and cheaper than sleeving them(and tbh how often do people look THAT close) though I do love the sleeved look.
