Floppy Power Connector

Go to solution Solved by Uphorics,

Wow... no posts... anyway...

The only thing I can think of using the floppy connector anymore is if you wanted to add lights or something to your case and use that as an adapter.

Other than that, no, it's useless. It's simply there because they can.

Hi guys, I was thinking of using the female 4pin molex connector on my molex to floppy power adapter that came with my PSU on a fan without molex and I was wondering would a floppy power connector be of any use in a build?

I think some sound cards use the floppy connector. I may be wrong though.

I cannot be held responsible for any bad advice given.

I've no idea why the world is afraid of 3D-printed guns when clearly 3D-printed crossbows would be more practical for now.

My rig: The StealthRay. Plans for a newer, better version of its mufflers are already being made.

Not really, I guess you could put a floppy disk drive in your build or try powering your fans off of the floppy connector
