Hey,

I can only seem to get 3 monitors running at the same time from my XPS 13 using mini-display port.  Either 3 external monitors or the laptop screen and 2 external monitors. I cannot find any information on this limitation on the product page. This reminds me of the limitation found with lower end desktop GPUs. Is it the same reason?

Is there anyway around it?

Would getting an external dock help?

Thanks,

Ghost

Intel's iGPUs only support 3 displays at the same time. It doesn't matter how you connect them.

Quick look at notebookcheck and it says it can only support 3 displays, source.

Intel GPU only support up to three monitors. I have the same problem using an MST hub on my EliteBook with HD 4400. Two displays off the hub + laptop screen works, but connecting a 4th over VGA will disable one of the others.

Thanks. I was wondering if a USB dock can overcome that?

Dell seems to be promoting running 3 screens through it... :/

I think you would, see @Name Taken video, it's connected to a NUC and I'm sure a NUC would use Intel iGPUs.
