Well considering with or without the cooler, it's gonna cost the same. It's really up to you if you want to see green pcb or some color that might match your motherboard and gpu.

I know RAM coolers are pretty much worthless but are they good just for the bling bling?

 

It depends if you want to match your build or making it stand out like the Avexir RAM that have built in LED's that have programmed lighting patterns on.
