I have plans to build a solar powered green house made out of recycled house windows and use a pi along with arduinos to regulate temperature, watering, soil quality, etc. Set it all up so it's accessible via a web site so I can access it from any device. It's very ambitious and I don't know that it will ever come to light, but it's something I REALLY want to do.

if you have a 3d printer get the following items and integrate the raspberry pi as a controller for the 3d printer

1. http://www.amazon.com/SainSmart-Display-AT070TN90-Controller-Raspberry/dp/B00GZCUNQ8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1422614596&sr=8-1&keywords=hdmi+touch+screen&pebp=1422614617705&peasin=B00GZCUNQ8

2. http://www.amazon.com/JBtek%C2%AE-Black-Raspberry-Access-Ports/dp/B00ONOKPHC/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1422614647&sr=8-3&keywords=raspberry+pi+case&pebp=1422614700463&peasin=B00ONOKPHC

attach the case to the under side of the 3d printer and mount the touch display in a clever and convenient place

(you wil also need 3d printer firmware for the pi )

There is a cool pi OS called RetroPI that allows you to use your Pi as a retro games emulator. You could create awesome emulation systems in things like Gameboy cases. I was also considering mounting it to a PCIE bracket, making a simple IO backplate and hiding it in my system, or outing it in a 5' 25" inch drive bay.

the best cool use of a Raspberry Pi is water cooling

completely pointless but cool lol

Yeah, it's cool.

Now, picture this: liquid nitrogen cooled raspberry pi overclocking. That's the real coolest use of a Pi.

I would really like to make a game cabinet with these. But like a small one. That would be amazing.
