How can i know if a GPU was used before ?

it's already opened i got it from a friend i didn't pay him yet until i'm sur it wasn't used before

ther is really no other way if you bought it "used" (not new from a retailer, but from a private auction or something) and the person who sold it to you told you it was unused, but obened up you really cant figuer irt out

its not as if it culd talk to you

 

if there are scratches on the fans or the heatsink if he cleaned it you culd notice that too

Well, if it works as it should then there is not really a problem is there? It's only a few months old even if it has been used. Don't pay full price for a second hand graphics card anyway.

nothing wrong with used components! there's some fantastic items at good prices on eBay. its not like a used 900 series card with have had any time to be used and abused if that's what you're worrying.
