They're if you're not above 50-60% fan speed. Once you go over that, it sounds like a jet engine.

I found them a fair bit louder than my strix 970

You're also going by the quietest GTX 970 out there (I've got one, love the silence).

Unless your card is overheating it shouldn't be too much of a difference.  I sort of regret getting the ACX because I like the Titan Blower a lot, heh vain me.

No quite, not loud.

In the middle really.

GALAX's reference card is so loud however. It literally gives you a headache.
