This is a killer system that is under 3k around 2k Great for 4K Gaming, Super Home Theater this computer is set to handle a lot of stuff this offers a AMD 8 core CPU and overclocking Is OK because this is using a h100i 16GB of RAM is good for gaming now the big part is 2 AMD R9 290x 8GB cross fire

That means 12GB of GDDR5 RAM great fit gaming and workstation cause and SSD for OS speed and 3TB HDD to put your stuff in and also better because new games are like 50GB or that was 15GB I forgot wireless is optional if you want to use Ethernet and sound card for surround sound speakers power hungry Head Phones and over 1200w PSU little yellow no worry the case hides it fan glowing red but not sure if GPU are red but it's AMD so it must have red right ?  I could make it over kill if I want :P

This has to be the biggest waste of $2K I've ever seen. You're spending all of that money to buy almost 3 year old CPU technology, cheaping the hell out on a motherboard and the dual 290X 8GBs are an odd and unnecessary choice.

Also, it's still 8GB GDDR5. The VRAM does not scale in SLI or CFX.

That WiFi card is overpriced. You could probably get one just as good for half that. You shouldn't be using WiFi anyway.

But an AMD CPU? Seriously? Come on.

Also that 290x is overpriced...im pretty sure they cost half that. Correct me if i'm wrong.

1600w PSU? Are you high? I think you are a troll, in that case, well done.

Lastly don't waist money on that thermal grease unless you need it somewhere else.

That sound card is not worth it, its not going to provide any features the onboard doesn't. If you are going to get a sound card, get something that is better than onboard, like it has a headphone amp, easy headphone/speaker selection or something like the ZX's control/headphone plug thing.

Also I wouldn't recommend that ASRock.

Rest of the build is fine ;)

v300 would be fine, but since the kingston bait-and-switch...no.

1300wpsu is still overkill (but not by much), i'd say 1000w would be best, any lower and it's pushing it.

and the wifi card is still overpriced, but since it's an intel i guess thats why. imo just get tp-link tl-wn781nd, its $13 and it's decent. my friend has one in his rig (he can't run an ethernet cable) and he's had no issues.

other than that great build.

I hate to break the news to you buddy, but AMD is kind of winning the GPU market. Nvidia is doing good, not hating on them or anything, but the 200 series which was more or less meant to compete against Nvidia's 700 series cards, still manages to keep up with the 960/970 and even the 980 in some cases. Also, those 290X's are 8gb, not the usual 4gb. I cri evrytim :'c

Not only does GPU Ram not do this, but 8+8 also does not equal 12.
