I have my workstation that has pretty lackluster ram in it right now that I want to upgrade. AMD TR 2970wx RTX 2080 Corsair Vengeance 2666 2x8 I'm currently looking at the Team T-Create Classic 10L ram kit "2x32gb" atm as it's discounted at my regular retailer but I'm not good at checking for compatibility... Would this be a good upgrade for my workstation??? I mainly do 3D modelling/sculpting, video editing, etc the usual workstation tasks. If it's not I'll just play it safe with a better Corsair or gskill kit. https://www.pccaseg

I got a t1600 yesterday and I updated the bios from a10 to a21 but it stopped boosting my cpu. It was boosting to 3.6 before I updated. I tried downgrading to a16 too but this didn't solve the issue. Was I supposed to re installed a fresh windows after bios update? or what did I do wrong? Or is it supposed to be that way? Will downgrading to a10 work in this case? There's another problem that it is not even running at it's base frequency (3.3Ghz). it's now maxed at 3.26Ghz.

Hi all... Been watching LTT vids for years but new to the forums so first off, hello :) I have a good understanding of PC's but the company i work for have recently asked me to look into upgrading our work PC's and was hoping someone here could give me some advice regards to GPU. We use AutoCAD, designing timber frame buildings in 3D and our current spec of PC is a quadro M2000 GPU, an intel xeon e5-1620 v4 CPU and 16GB of RAM which does struggle a bit when changing from wireframe to realistic etc. As a gamer PC enthusiast my thoughts for a new PC would be going for the latest gen AMD cpu, Ryz

Northbridge on my t3500 workstation gets extremely hot, ive tried multiple softwares to see if i can get an exact temperature its reaching and ive found nothing. im worried its going to fry one day while gaming and i cannot afford to buy another mobo. the northbridge heatsink is tightly fitted with a Z shaped Bar held down by two small hooks. There’s black plastic pieces towards the bottom of the hooks where i assume it detaches but still no luck in removing it. the northbridge probably hasn’t had new thermal paste since it was manufactured and it gets hot enough to cook eggs,

Hi all, I am looking at finding a purely workstation laptop, used for general use (Office, Photoshop) and video streaming (netflix, youtube etc.). No dedicated graphics card needed, just a nice processor, min 8gb RAM and at least 500gb SSD. Been looking around and most the laptops that look good for the price range are either sold out or have less than great reviews. Anything closer to the £500 mark is ideal. Any help is much appreciated.

I need to buy a PC for my work that I will be setting up to run an automated manufacturing cell. The PC will run LabView to control a couple of physical processes as well as saving test results to a DB and communicating with a bunch of test equipment. We are going to run computer vision on it, but LabView's computer vision DOES NOT take advantage of a GPU and doesn't benefit much from multi-threading. Great. We might need to add a PCIe card in the future, but don't need one now, so a free slot is useful. Also, having 4 or more USB 3.x ports is an advantage because of the high throughput c
