I just got arival 300 special edition gunmetal, and damn it looks smexy.

What's the coating material? I think I should have waited for it to come in stock, instead of rushing to get the white model. :D

The only special edition is the Fade afaik.

Is that matt or glossy. I would like to try a white glossy one. The new 700 seems to have a better shape.

  • 2 weeks later...

I recently put together my impressions of the Logitech G600 feel free to check it out. https://goo.gl/5UjpIB

I really wish that the "third click" was included on other mice. I find it quite useful when gaming.

Here is a little taste of the "tech porn" included :P

I really don't like the new posting thing. Not having a code view makes it far less flexible... So pics wise its only going to be thumbnails for me from here on out.

Kinda bummed that I sold this mouse, though it was too small for my gorilla hands. Damn, it looks sexy in white.

Yay for white peripherals! :D

That's one hell of a deal. If there was the same deal here, I'd get one and use it for MMO's and MOBAs. It looks kinda bulky, I wonder if it's bigger than my Rival 300.

The grip is smaller than the rival 300 is actually quite ergonomic. I do actually go over that a bit in there.

It's tiny. At least it was for me. It felt like it was half the size of my current Zowie.

I didn't expect to find a comparison, but yeah, it looks tiny compared to the Rival (and the ZA 11, which should be just a bit shorter than the Rival).

so you probably grip more from the top? Logitech has primarily designed their palm grip to be more from the back (if you know what I mean) ;)

I've used Logitech mice for years, but I have grown to dislike their shape now I have used other mice. I use a pretty tight grip, that's for sure.

A close friend of mine recently did a review of a mouse that I quite like, the Mamba TE. I knew he would like it but he woudnt buy it so i finally just up and bought it for him. I dont know why but I always go back to this mouse since I got it. My one concern is reliability. Be on the look out for cats! https://goo.gl/vq06H0

Can someone explain to my why on earth I have grease build up on my EC1-A mouse wheel when I don't even use it.

Opened it up and cleaned up the mouse wheel. It just seemed to have grease in the cracks of the mouse wheel, which, over time would leak over it.

Speaking of which, I've decided to switch back to the EC1-A. Not for any performance reasons as they're pretty much the same mouse inside, I just fancied a shape change.

Somewhat recently picked up the Corsair Katar. I actually like the shape but keep trying to use the side buttons that just are not there. Also the cable is crap. The front mouse feet are not all the way forward so the mouse can tip. https://goo.gl/G8qojh

Likely something of interest to many of you. I got the Tek Syndicate Standard Issue mouse on release. A review from me should be coming soon on it. I can say that its a decent mouse for the money but improvements can easily be made.
