Is WoW Any Good?

Just as the title says, I'm wondering whether WoW is any good. I was watching a Sodapoppin stream and felt my MMO side come back to life. My days of Runescape have long since past and WoW wasn't looking too shabby. So, can anyone give me their opinion on WoW? Also, can someone tell me how much it would cost and if I need all the expansions for it? I appreciate any feedback.

WoW is one of the best MMO's out right now.  You can also play for free until Level 60 I believe.  I'm not sure on the cost though, as I don't play myself.  I have had, however, several friends that were dedicated WoW fans.

The new expansion is actually quite good from what I've heard of.

If you want to get into WoW you should wait for their sales. They go on sale often at 75% off for their basic game which includes up to the Mists of Pandaria. You will need to buy Warlords of Draenor seperately though.

That said, it is still the best MMORPG. I havent got to the newest expansion yet because i am so done with mmorpgs in general. As a person who has Guildwars 2, TERA (bought it...lol), And AAR, the best is still WoW for me.

Yep its one of the best MMORGP's I choose not to play it as a value my studies and it takes up ALL your time.

I've played for quite some time. I would give a few opinions and thoughts. If you are someone that is okay dedicating a lot of time to one game that WoW may be for you. If you are looking for really strong PVE content then WoW may be for you. If you are heavily into pvp as well you may enjoy WoW. Overall its a great game the only problem for me is cost and time. You only really start to enjoy things late in game and the time required to do things is pretty substainal. When I play WoW I don't play other games when I don't play WoW I play a lot of other games just my personal experience. If you want to dab into WoW go for it.

Overall, i'd say yes it's good.

 

I originally played when the game was still vanilla, then played through & cleared the expansions TBC & WOTLK, but quit shortly before Cataclysm.

I keep going back to it, the only thing that was preventing me from playing full time, was work.

played it for 2 days, I stepped back I was like "what the F am I doing"

(everyone told me play a bit more and then you will love it, It didn't work)

Uninstalled.

 

Played Guild Wars 2, like the combat system, good dialogs, dont like the MMO-feel.

Guess I'm not a MMO-player.

Action RPG for life brah.

I like Diablo 3 though, and they patched it since yesterday.

But the game looks freaking dead like they are pushing one more exspansion.

Diablo 3 was decent though did get a bit repetitive :D
