Best of these two laptops for college?

15105511

Hi guys, I've rounded down my college laptop search to these two models:

MSI G Series GS70 STEALTH-037 17.3-Inch Laptop:
ASUS ROG GL551JM-DH71 15.6" Gaming Laptop w/ GeForce GTX860M 2GB GDDR5 and Optimus Technology:

And can't decide on which one to get when I go to college. Which one's better, and why? It seems as if the ROG laptop has a better processor, but the MSI's main argument is that it has another drive bay for me to install a SSD, whatever. Screen resolution/display quality is important to me. Which one's takes this fight?

17.3" laptop for college. I hope you are not thinking about taking this anywhere.

And that ROG. Your spine will snap.

I would get a 4210U, 8GB RAM, 1080p IPS, 14".

Like that new Dell XPS.

5800X3D - RTX 4070 - 2K @ 165Hz

Depends...:-| 6lbs laptop to have in my backpack/bag wouldn't be completely comfortable for me. What makes these two laptops your best option for your college study(curriculum)?

What feature(s) stand out?

Like that new Dell XPS.

Dayum :3 sexy but looks more pricey than these two.
