Corsair H100i + custom fans

Hi guys,

 

I'm planing to put a H100i in my Cooler Master Storm Trooper ( sub question: should fit perfectly? :) and my primary question is about the fans. Should I replace the stock fans? If yes, with what? I have my eyes on Corsair or Noctua. The only trouble atm with Noctua is that they are ugly. Does Noctua have a date on the black coloured ones yet?

I think you might be interested in this thread as well.

It doesn't really sound like the black Noctuas will be available to consumers any time

soon (if at all).

Maybe have a look at the Noiseblocker eLoops, they seem to be quite good from what I've

heard and read, and you can get them in different rpm versions. The stock fans on the

H100i allegedly sound pretty much like jet engines.

H100 fits in Stryker nicely so i guess H100i also no problem. My friend own one.

Fans, if you want appearance u choose corsair then, if want a little more performance, pick the Noctua NF-F12, Linus's favourite fans. =)

you could always spray them whatever colour you want ;)

or to avoid the risk of screwing up the balance you could just dye them a different color.
