H1Z1 was so hyped up by twitch streamers. Then i saw the graphics and was like "are u fkin kidding me".

Not worth your money atm. If u however jave buddies to play with then w/e, u can have fun in any game if have good bunch of ppl to play with.

As individual: dont touch it with a long long stick.

Wait until it is out and tested before you buy it. Early access games tend to be a waste of money.

Don't buy it. You're paying Sony to test their game. Yeah ....no. Not worth it for something that is not original.

Why would you pay a company to test their game? Sounds pretty backwards to me...

I say wait until it releases.

I wanna buy it, but i after the pre order desaster of last year i´m not so sure anymore cause its on early access.

anyone can recommend it`?

I mean, don't you get to keep the game after you buy it? I bought it early access, mostly because I never played DayZ, so this is actually gonna be new for me. I mean so you buy it in early access, yes you are helping them take out bugs, the experience won't be perfect, but when it comes out, doesn't that mean you own the game, and don't have to pay any extra? So essentially if you buy it now, you can play test it and own the game when it comes out, am I correct? I've never bought a early access steam game before but I'm assuming this is how it works...I'm pretty excited to try it out, even though I know there are a lot of server issues right now with so many people attempting to get online.

Yes, that is how it works. The problem is that they tend to be horribly unplayable and people complain like it was a full release and demand their money back.

The game is going to be free, and you're basically paying for an unfinished game. They don't have to finish it, so you're not guaranteed anything (pre-purchases in general).

A few years ago YOU would get paid to test the game, now you pay the developer to TEST their game for bugs. It's backwards.

That's like a mechanic paying you to fix your car because he enjoys fixing cars like you enjoy playing games.

Even I (someone who has never purchased an early access game) knows how they work, & I'm pretty sure they have a giant disclaimer on early access games alarming people that it is early access. I'm excited to try it, I figure these server issues will probably go away after a few days and it will be much better. I haven't seen any major issues while watching people play it yet, besides the struggle of getting in a game.

People don't care what the disclaimer says. They get a shit alpha release and then they get pissy about it. Early Access games should  not be allowed anymore. It is stupid anyways. Early access, if it should be there, should be free or they pay you to test it.

Valid point. If you have not experienced this type of game, I suppose the price could be justified. The game is said to be released as a free-to-play so there is no real advantage to pre-purchase at the "alpha" pricing. Furthermore, this will run off of the Planetside 2 engine, a game engine that has more bugs than -insert witty joke here- and is horribly optimized, though, it is a very fun experience. It has a good amount of potential assuming it makes enough money to keep the development team interested.

All in all, if you'd like the zombie apocalypse experience DayZ Standalone and the Arma mods, in my opinion, is the way to go.

Disclaimer: not a DayZ fan boy, I play neither standalone or the mods any longer. All they have become is a giant death match between pro no-scope l33t snipars, hackers, noobs, server admins, and the few people that actually RP ...which, is what H1Z1 will become.

Ya I kinda agree that the "beta" should be free, I guess it just helps support the developers. I liked DayZ because you could access it free of charge I think but could also pay to support the developers if you wanted. At least I think that's how it worked, I never played it can't say for sure.

Yeah, I'll have to try DayZ, I always meant to get around to it but had no motivation since none of my friends played it much anymore. Different story with H1Z1 lots of people interested in it. I just hope to be able to log onto the game in a couple days lol. Tonight I can't log on, but most people are having this issue.

Seeing as it's constantly crashing for a lot of people...I dont think it's worth it.

Plus it seems pay2win already

We'll see. I guess if it's shit there goes $20 bucks, I'm not too concerned. We'll see when we can actually play, however I am very against 'pay to win' games. Paying should only get your cosmetics or appearance things....not in game bonuses to help you out in game play. Also ya I can't even get on, but I knew that when I downloaded it. It's the first day, I knew there were gonna be problems. I'll try it again this weekend.

People crying P2W are crying about a feature not working as intended.  Airdrops are not supposed to drop in front of you, they are supposed to drop in the middle of nowhere where the whole server has access to it.

Someone could buy airdrops all day but if a group of people contest it they aren't guaranteed anything

I heard some people got airdrop full of zombies. Sounds good to me :)

If this is the only way to spend money then i can let it pass since enyone could loot the airdrop u purchased.

But game loos too bad (graphically) to be worth my time, unless its £5 on g2a. Then i dont mind.

It's an early access game, you should not expect a game anywhere near completion. Better yet, don't complain that you're not getting your money's worth because your the one that agreed to pay and play-test their game. If there's something wrong with it, you should probably post it on their forums so that they can hopefully see it.

If you enjoy the idea of a zombie survival game, haven't played one yet, and really want to try one, it might be worth a shot. Maybe watch some people stream it to see what it's like. Make note that these games tend to be a lot more enjoyable when you have friends to play with (honestly, its the only thing that makes them enjoyable to me).

Seriously just wait til the game is free to play which it will be.  Right now in it's current state the only reason to get it would be if you are one of those streamers on YouTube looking to have every new title you can play to try and get viewers.  The game has brain dead zombies and it really just is you vs other players on a very small map for an online game of this sort.  Also beside the zombies being brain dead you rarely see mobs of them and feel threatened by them.  Do not pay money for this.

Too many ****ing games!  Back log 4 life! :S

I applied for a refund as that's what they are offering now. I am all for early access but what i don't like is that they have made it pay to win. They have said if we don't like the airdrop idea we can get a refund.
